went for a trip to kenya last week. first trip to the other side of congo, and what a trip it was. got a taste of african hospitality right at the border. the corrupt immigration officer taking bribe for giving visa! and in the long drawn discussion my bus leaving with all the luggage! but to top it all, the only thing i could find there to chase the bus was a cycle! yes a cycle! it was damn funny(as a afterthought only!! i was terrified that time!!) chasing bus on a cycle! but me no lance armstrong, and the bus definetely ran away. with few hassle and bollywood chase scenes finally caught it..phew! getting clicked with the nile crocodile baby was fun, and the python too! the hotel was nice though i think that the staff thought that me and my roomie are gay! they always saw us sleeping in day and going out somewhere in the night! well for the records we were just going around the night clubs(oh i am goin to miss them in india!) and what i could not do in 4 months of gym, one sea fish did..my hand was as big as arnold! now i understand nana's dialogue "ek machar...!!" never underestimate what may look small! and the girls at the bus office who think i look like a bollywood star( ask them don't tell me that i am bragging! jeleous huh!!) she kept singing hindi songs till the time our bus came! all in all a fun trip. if you are ready for a bit of hassle, africa is fun
