little gift called life...

There are times in life when you are not sure about yourselves, this thing happens with me every night when i sit down to write my blog. But as time passed, i realised that i am not just writing it for my comrades to read, its a part of me which wants to tell something, something to let go the thoughts in us. I read somewhere that a wise man listens more and speaks less, and i follow it to the T! But luckily i was little drunk today so no doubts about self. Had a intresting converastion over drinks today, the jest of which i understood, i am going to share. We are always preoccupied with either our past or our future, and ignore about our present. We always have our past laurels to share or our past faliures to ponder about. And we always have our future plans up and ready for discussion. But than very few discuss or think about our present. We always think about people i our life, or planing about those we plan to have in our life, but forget the ones in our lives. How many of us when we lie on our bed in night can just sleep without thinking about our past or present, i for one can not claim to do that. And i don't know about past, but forgetting the present is surely going to affect the future. We have memories of our time we enjoyed the rains as a kid, but now we get worried about getting wet and spoling our clothes when rain comes. Now the sight of kulfi vala bhaiya does not brings us the sweet taste in our mouth, but we think about the various illness it can cause. We have stopped enjoying a drive in our small car in the night, thinking more about how will i earn enough money for my new car. Lets try to forget the past and the future and enjoy our present withput any guilt. Its important to fight our own soul. confront our own doubts and fears;rather than blame everything on someone else. (comrades all this gyaan is coz of rains in the evening and short circuit rendering a unservicable TV!) But than i am happy i said this thing, it was on the mind to be shared with my comrades. Till next time, Adios comrades.....

the great indian circus!

Sorry for missing out on blog yesterday comrades, got drunk while watching kaminey..Had a tough time in the movie, all the time i had to explain to my neighbour about what is going on!( as if i understood it!!). Anyways to pass my boring afternoon today, i just picked cd and started playing it, turned out to be my sis marriage cd. And telling you the truth comrades, i was in split all the way! No need to watch those endless comedy shows, just pick up any marriage cd and you going to have a big hearty laugh. To start with , all these cd's have those corny romantic no's playing in background, there is no dreath of good romantic no's but still they will find something like 'mera sona sajaan aaya'!! Watching the barat dancing was like as if they have been made to stand up on a frying pan! When we will learn to dance without throwing our hands in air as if we are drowning in sea and calling for help! And then the famous entry of the groom and girls playing stupid jokes, and that 3 hour wait on the stage, where in everyone comes to give their blessings! I saw one funny family in the cd where the girl was telling her parents to stand on the sides for the perfect symmetry!! Spare a thought for the poor bride and groom also who must be cursing one and all for this torture. On a afterthought, has anyone seen a bride or a groom going to the loo from the stage??! I know its a stupid question!! but still i am curious..And those stupid photographers! 'SIR JI EK BAAR DOOBARA KARNA, PAUSE KARNA, ETC.'!!! And why do these photographers have the most jarring voice of all! The pandit always finds something missing and will announce in the loudest possible voice to embarass the parents! Wasn't he paid to help them! And than finally the vidai, which is NOT complete if the bride and her family don't cry! Good lord, its funny to watch but each one of them is like a xerox copy of another...anyways i am not going to bore you comrades futher, but than its my blog, its my crap! But still incase u comment, the best comment will get a prize!

blowing up on life..STOP IT

too much criticism in last few days about my blogs, its ok comrades! Before you acheive greatness there are bound to be struggle, and i really appreciate criticism, that's the only way i can improve my writing. Keep pouring it comrades! We are so much celeb addicted people, amitabh's blog telling about what he had in breakfast has 305 comments! gosh, i feel happy that i am a responsible blogger! I don't post crap!! Sad news coming my way today, lost someone close today coz of drug additction. The world of illusion is overpowering, we are always looking at ways to get into it, we all love life and yet we are looking for ways to take us away from the normal life. Isn't it strange, we have one life given to us and we are running away from it. Elevation of some sort you might get on drugs but than life does follow the sine curve, once you get a high it will always be followed by a low. And the curve keeps getting steeper as the addiction. Don't really know what to advice on that, i also booze so i am not really saint in this aspect, but all i can say is illusion is good but life is always a better option. And by chance saw dev D once again today evening..Perfect example of bouncing back from any addiction, get addicted to some one! Another week starts tommorow, not suffering from monday morning blues anymore! looking forward to it..till tommorow evening, adios comrades..

better than facebook applications! satisfaction guaranteed!

today i am not going to write about a movie(though i did watch my fav one 'jab we met' and it was amazing once again!). Yesterday i asked a question on facebook, why do we like someone? Got some pretty intresting answers and some dumb ones asking me about who is someone!! Vikram told me its the time which matters which make certain person likeable..But than don't we have that someone in our life whom we like all the time, and that is beyond time, beyond circumstances, beyond things which any other person will not comprehend but you only...I for one have such people in my life, and the point here is not to discuss those person, but the feelings. People might feel different things about different people, but than at the bottom of their heart everyone does have that someone..And its not something to deny about, we should feel happy that we have people, whose memory we can cherish for life. Afterall, when its all over, what we are left with is memories. So comrades(after 3 days of getting the spelling of comrades wrong, got it right this time! thanks oxford guys!), instead of making fun of the question, ask this question to yourself, who is that special person and get connected, thank God for giving you this feeling. And one more thing, STOP searching for answers of your life in stupid facebook applications! The answer lies within you, or is there with me!! ask me instead..jai ho danny baba ki!! adios comrades...

DIL CHAHTA HAI...

i feel more and more like film critic with my blogs these days! but that pretty natural as thats something i am doing for the better part of the day (ofcourse i can not write blog about my sleep! and my dreams..well this is a social site, so better leave them!). So today after flying in the morning and sleeping for better part of the day(5 hour in the afternoon!) and no play in evening(coz of the rains! i love them, always give me a excuse to laze around!!) i settled down in the couch with my poison( its a slang for liquor for the mango ppl), and DCH in the player. A cult movie as per me, and my first multiplex movie( have u commrades ever noticed how so many happiness of our lives we can relate with some song, music or movie! there is always something related to them). Everytime i watch the movie, the only thing that comes to my mind is F.R.I.E.N.D.S(not the serial! this was just to give the special touch!). Lucky in my life to have so many of them, wherever u are, i love u all. How many of u commrades feel the same and have a 3 D photo in their room?! My best scene in the movie was the drive to goa..and well i had the same feeling like Akash in DCH that i will go there every year and its been 5 years now since i have been there! don't want to make it anymore and goa is on cards this time! Commrades do ping me about your favourite scene in the movie..till than adios..

my enfield, my passion

When i was a young kid, i had a dream.. To go to college and zip aorund on my bike, doing all sort of stunts, and i really tried a lot of them on my cycle ( with disastrous results, broken bones and ego included!). But than i grew up into a young man, and i again had a dream, me flying a plane in the sky and driving a bike..sorry,not any other bike, but driving my bullet on the road. The first thing i did after i graduated and beacame a pilot was to buy a bullet, a royal enfield machismo. Till date she remains my first love and will always be. Than last evening surfing on the net i saw a pic, and i had a dream again! Commrades the new royal enfield retro look bike is out! And they promise that the original thump is back! I am just waiting to go back to india to lay my hand on this beauty..Best thing about my machismo is..it will never mind a new mistress!! Waiting for the enfiled guys to keep giving me more dreams....

life is a pendulum!

define friend?? You guys will have many copied definations from internet to reply to this, well i learned one original one today morning. A friend is someone who calls you at 3 in the morning and expects you to say hello in the sweetest possbile way! So commrades that's how my day started, on a rather startled note! While i was dreaming away to glory, a phone call from a friend at 3! And than i had morbid visions of things i could not really comprehend!! But the end result was that i got up in morning with zombie eyes and a cursing room mate (that's coz i told him that its a day match between india & aus and he got up at 5 AM congo time!!) Day went pretty fast in work and than in the afternoon i was all set to watch the match, and boy o boy, what a match it was.. took 7 hours out of my life for nothing!! I am sure about one thing, had it not been we asians(leave the chinese, japnese, koreans..all the small eyes and **** ones!!) cricket would have died its own death. I mean where can you imagine crores of people wasting their entire day on a game (not playing, just watching!). At the end of the match, my room was filled with teary eyes and smoke( neither of which belong to me). But as i am a intelligent man with a eye for lessons out of experience, i learned something from the match. Firstly, even your most trusted commrades can fail u when u need them. Secondly, its not over till its over! And thirdly, you can always trust a old hand to come up with something special when u need it. On this note, adios commrades, see u tommorow..

ghar aaja pardesi!

i am always comfused about the way to start my blog, should i have a melodramatic start or should i have a subtle humour or just point blank on the face kinda thing...but than suddenly there was this halo around my head, and i attained enlightment! Why fuss so much? as it is no one reads them! so let me do it my way and thanks to my loyal friends (that was to impress them!!) i will have atleast few readers! okie so the flavour for today is 'to the point' thing! so friends finally after spending 13 months in africa, finally i will be going back to India in couple of weeks. For all those people who crib about India, guys come over to Congo once and i am sure u gonna love even your village forever!! What i am going to miss once i go back?? first thing...free time! and all the associated things that come with it..like reading books, watcing movies and plaing games! next, my cuppa ice cream!! and i guess that's all. Rest, nothing to beat my country! Saw Rock ON once again last night, love the song TUM HO TOH! Now this one is for the readers( incase anyone has reached till this line!), whats ur pick for the most passionate lover of music in the movie..my pick is farhan akhtar!

movies and magic

yesterday i saw devdas for the first time, the SRK one.. supposed to be the adaption of devdas novel in true sense( the other one and not the pure one as per the purist! dev D!). and it made me think, who is the true hero, devdas or dev d.. the pursit may say devdas was the true lover, and dev d, well just a pale imitation with its many flaws. If one may ask my opinon( which i doubt anyone will!!) i feel dev d was the true hero. He had bigger flaws than devdas( in addition to liquor he used to dope too!! haha) , but than he did not die in the end and finally found love! Happy hindi movie ending! that's what heores do, win in the end, right? and plus there were more layers of flaws in dev d than devdas had( if u negate the stammering flaws of SRK!), more shades of grey than white, black, etc. All in all dev d was the one with more deviation than the normal, but at the same time, you can find people like him in today's world. Anyways, i am no great critic so it does not matter much what i think. But since i have the power of blogging in my hand atleast i hope someone wil read it! till than three cheers to anurag kashyap, keep belting out such genius work.

dharti ka mahavinash!!

being in congo(thats central africa) for past one year, and with lots of time in hand to think( though i wonder, does one only needs time to think! what about something called 'brain'!!) ; people come up with ideas, thoughts, wishlist.. etc. i had my wishlist ready too, always being the one who loves to be on the road( driving i mean! not the beggar kinds!) i used to surfing auto magazines, sites, experts and anyone with a bite on it! and i had almost zeroed it down to a swanky looking SUV. but than for last 3 months, the only news channel in here, INDIA TV(imagine! thats the only channel they can air for free here! i knew you don't expect much for free...but still!!) started airing these news reports about the end of earth.. what they call "dharti ka mahavinash"!! everytime i switch on the channel, i see a host standing(at best he can pass off as a salesman!) and in the background there will be a graphic of globe either drowning or on fire! this left me confused, but than i followed it and realised the fire will cause the earth glaciers to melt and than water level rising..comprende, but is it really that scary, i doubt that. i mean we have these great scietist all around the world, the general awareness level of the world is increasing, people are aware of the problems around and if they are not, well we have INDIA TV to tell them! so i am sure, we are going to get over this problem too. meanwhile i have changed my plans as of now and going to buy a motor boat instead of a SUV(chuckles!).
